A multi-tank ultrasonic washer is a cleaning system with two or more independent tanks. Each tank handles different cleaning steps (like washing, rinsing, drying). Workers manually move the part basket between tanks to finish the whole cleaning process.

Working Principle of Multistage Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine
The workflow of a standard 4-tank or 5-tank model clearly demonstrates its working principle:
Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank (Tank 1)
Purpose : Pre-cleaning
Process : The operator immerses the basket with workpieces into this tank and activates the ultrasonic function and heating. The cavitation effect of ultrasound strongly strips off oil, grease, and particles from the workpiece surface. This is the core stage of decontamination.
Ultrasonic Rinse Tank (Tank 2)
Purpose : Remove residual cleaning detergent
Process : The basket is transferred from Tank 1 to Tank 2 filled with clean (optionally heated) water. Ultrasonic action ensures thorough elimination of residual cleaning agents and emulsified oils from surfaces and crevices.
Fresh Water Rinse Tank (Tank 3)
Purpose : Final rinse
Process : Uses tap water or purified water to flush away any trace residues. Deionized water effectively prevents water spots during drying.
Hot Air Drying Tank (Tank 4)
Purpose : Workpiece drying
Process : The operator places the workpiece basket into this tank. The equipment blows out clean hot air that has undergone high-efficiency filtration, which quickly evaporates moisture from the workpiece surface, resulting in fully dried and clean workpieces.
(Note: 5-tank models typically add a Pre-Cleaning Tank before Tank 1 or an additional rinse tank for enhanced performance.)

1. Tank Structure
Material : SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel (corrosion-resistant).
