Semi-automatic Acid Cleaning Machines

• Nitric acid cleaning is generally used to remove oxides, grease, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
• Due to the large-sized workpieces (as shown in the figure above) weighing over 300 kg that require soaking and cleaning in nitric acid solution, GTK engineers have specially designed this semi-automatic cleaning equipment dedicated to strong acids.
• The equipment is mainly composed of one loading station, three nitric acid bubbling soaking tanks, one tap water rinsing tank, etc.
• Working Process: Place the workpiece baskets sequentially in each cleaning tank, and the workpieces will undergo cleaning processes at each stage.
• Due to the large product size and weight of approximately 300 kg, a set of electric hoist auxiliary lifting device has been specially designed to assist in lifting and transporting the cleaning baskets and products.
• Considering the corrosiveness of the nitric acid cleaning detergent, automatic sealing doors are designed on the top of the tanks, and air suction pipes are installed on both sides to recover and treat floating acid fumes.
• Given the corrosiveness of the nitric acid cleaning detergent, the cleaning tanks are made of SUS316 stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant for long-term use.
• To ensure the uniform cleaning effect of the nitric acid cleaning detergent, compressed air pipes are installed at the bottom of the liquid to achieve uniform bubbling cleaning.
•  Design dimensions of the equipment tanks: L4100 × W1000 × H700 (mm) (cleaning liquid depth: 550 mm)
• Walkways are laid on three sides around the equipment, covered with FRP grating plates to facilitate inspection and maintenance.
