What is Vapor Degreaser?

This process is similar to the “reflux condensation” phenomenon in daily life. For example, when walking from an air-conditioned room to the hot outdoors in summer, water mist condenses on eyeglasses due to temperature difference. Vapor degreaser utilizes this principle to achieve efficient cleaning of workpieces.

How does a Vapor Degreasing System Work?

The principle of vapor degreasing involves heating a solvent to generate vapor, which forms a controlled vapor zone. When a workpiece is placed within this zone, the grease adhering to its surface is dissolved and rinsed by the vapor. As the vapor condenses, it falls back into the tank along with dissolved grease and contaminants, reverting to a liquid cleaning solvent. This solvent is then reheated to vaporize and recontact the workpiece, creating a continuous cleaning cycle. This closed-loop system ensures the workpiece is consistently exposed to fresh solvent vapor, effectively eliminating cross-contamination issues associated with traditional cleaning processes.

When is a Vapor Degreaser Machine Needed?

A vapor degreaser is required in the following scenarios:

  • When cleaning precision components (e.g., precision electronic parts, medical devices) that demand extremely high cleanliness.
  • When dealing with workpieces with complex geometries and delicate components,(such as blind holes, crevices, or intricate shape) that conventional  cleaning methods cannot reach the requirement of high-quality cleaning and quick drying.
  • When contaminants like grease, flux residues, or oil stains are difficult to remove with aqueous-based cleaners or manual cleaning.
  • When efficient, continuous cleaning is needed for mass-produced parts, as it enables solvent recycling and consistent cleaning results.

Why Choose Our Emission Free Ultrasonic Vapor Degreaser Equipment?

Due to processing, industrial components may have heavy contaminants such as grease, resin, wax, and paint adhered on their surfaces. These stains may not be effectively removed by ordinary aqueous-based ultrasonic cleaning, while vapor-phase solvents perform extremely strong solvency for grease, resin, dirt, and the like. With stable chemical properties and non-flammability, they can quickly and efficiently dissolve various contaminants during the cleaning process. When combined with the cavitation effect of ultrasonic sound wave, the cleaning efficiency and quality are greatly improved, and are completely emission-free.

GTK offer superior cleaning in a variety of applications for removing contaminants, and our cleaning systems are designed to match the high-volume, high-efficiency demands of today’s leading manufacturers, regardless of how complex or intricate the component.
